1. Do you sell seeds?
 
We sell plants only. They come in deep plugs in a tray of 25.
 
 
2. What do the plants grow in / what will they arrive in?
 
Our plants come in a deep plug tray. Each cell is 2 inches wide and 4 and a half inches deep. This deeper plug size allows for more root growth and the prevention of root spiraling, and in turn, the plants are bigger and healthier.
 
 
3. Why is there an order minimum?
 
Due to the size of the trays and how the plants are grown, you must order at least 5 of each plant species. Before you checkout, you must have a minimum of 25 plants. Another reason for setting it up this way is because our goal is to enable plant communities.
 
 
4. How can I contact you?
 
You can reach out to us via Facebook messenger, Instagram direct messenger, or email regarding your order. Email is the best way to reach us. We are an online mail-order business only, and are not staffed to answer phones.
 
 
5. Where are you located?
 
We are based in New Jersey; this is where your plants will ship from. We are an online store only, and are not set up for in-person nursery visits.
 
 
6. Do you use pesticides?
 
The Pollen Nation is committed to providing healthy plants free of pests and disease. Horticultural oils, soaps and biological controls are always our first choice. Neonicotinoids and other systemic chemicals are never used. Extreme situations may result in the use of conventional horticultural chemicals, though their use is strongly avoided.
 
 
7. I’m ready to check out, why isn’t my state on the drop down menu?
 
Unfortunately we cannot ship to AK, AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, TX, WA, WY, or Canada or anywhere outside the United States.
 
 
8. When will my order ship?
 
This year’s shipping season will begin mid-April. Everything that was ordered on or after October 26th, 2020 will ship starting April 22nd.
If you have plants with a variety of availability dates, plants may be held until all of them are in stock before shipping. For example, if you order plants that are in stock now (for April) and pre-ordered other plants for a later date, everything may be held and shipped out on that later date.
 
9. How can I be sure that payment is secure?
 
All purchases are processed through BigCommerce. BigCommerce provides a secure shopping experience for customers by keeping their security systems up to date with the best practices. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard that organizations must adhere when handling credit card and debit card information. You can find out more on their site.
 
 
10. How can I change my order after I’ve already placed it?
 
Send us an email and we can switch plants from your current order to the ones that you’d like, as long as they are the same amount. You cannot add any additional plants once an order has already been placed. This is because the E-Commerce platform we use does not store your credit card info for us to see, so we cannot charge the card ourselves if we were to add items to your order.
